Voor dit bloeiende cadeau-idee zijn kleine bloemen of vruchten heel dicht bij elkaar geschikt tot een mini-arrangement. Als basisvorm voor de schikking kun je bijvoorbeeld bakvormpjes gebruiken. Zo heb je een leuk cadeautje voor je gastvrouw of gastheer, die de vorm later, als de schikking zijn glans heeft verloren, kan gebruiken om mee te bakken. Deze sierstukjes vormen ook fraaie tafeldecoraties: met een versiering van lijsterbes, boerenwormkruid en bramen kun je een tafel feestelijk aankleden.

Plaats de bloemen dicht bij elkaar en gelijkmatig in de vorm. Dat is vooral belangrijk langs de kanten, want de vorm moet duidelijk uitkomen. Het steekschuim kan het makkelijkst op maat worden gesneden als je de vorm stevig op het blok steekschuim drukt, zodat er een duidelijke afdruk ontstaat. snij het steekschuim daarna met een scherp mes uit.

Maak het steekschuim vochtig als je rozenknoppen of andere bloemen met stengels gebruikt. Als je bessen of zelfgemaakte rozenknoppen met binddraad verstevigd, is dat uiteraard niet nodig. Je kunt zelf knoppen maken van rozenblaadjes, crêpeband en binddraad. Omwikkel telkens drie blaadjes met crêpeband en steek dan een stuk binddraad door het crêpeband heen, zodat er een stengel ontstaat die je in het steekschuim kunt steken.

Bevestig de bramen en lijsterbessen aan binddraad en steek ze daarmee in het steekschuim. Boerenwormkruid kun je er direct in steken.

Stap 1

Druk het hartvormpje stevig op het steekschuim en snij het langs de omtrek voorzichtig uit. De randen en vlakken van het hart moeten nog iets worden bijgesneden, zodat het in het vormpje past.

Stap 2

Rol vervolgens telkens drie rozenblaadjes losjes in elkaar. Knip zo nodig helemaal onder aan de blaadjes voorzichtig een stukje af, zodat het bloempje in verhouding niet te lang wordt.

Stap 3

Bind de onderkant van de ‘rozenknop’ met crêpeband samen. Begin aan de voorkant en trek het crêpeband naar achteren. Draai het een kwartslag om en druk het rondom vast. Knip het uiteinde af.

Stap 4

Steek binddraad door het ‘roosje’ en buig de draad zo om dat de uiteinden onderaan een stuk uitsteken. Wikkel één uiteinde tweemaal om het crêpeband en draai beide uiteinden vervolgens om elkaar. Knip ze bij.

Stap 5

Schik de roosjes langs de buitenrand van de vorm. Begin bovenaan bij de gebogen lijn. Ga verder met schikken, rij na rij, gelijkmatig en dicht op elkaar. Plaats in het midden een echte roos als accent.

Vormpje met bessen

Knip de bessen (bijvoorbeeld van de lijsterbes) los en bevestig ze per stuk aan binddraad. Schrik de eerste rij langs de rand. Werk verder naar binnen en naar boven toe.
